Vet Tech Cafe - Alli Butler Episode

Caffeinators, have you ever had an idea for a veterinary product or invention but you had know idea to make that a reality? Or perhaps an improvement on an existing product that you know could be better but never knew what to do? Then this is the episode for you! As veterinary technicians, we're quite resourceful and possess great powers of ingenuity when it comes to connecting tubes to machines, or just making stuff work. That's where Alli Butler, RVT, with MILA International comes in! Jeff worked with her for a couple years at the veterinary school at Tufts University while Alli was working on her biomedical engineering degree. She has since been hired as a biomedical engineer at MILA working on these exact things-how to create products that will make our jobs easier. This discussion takes us through her path to MILA (you'll love this story!), what her job looks like there, projects she's working on, and the incredible CE program they've started.
