In this episode, we interview Stephen Cital RVT, SRA, RLAT, VCC, CVPP, VTS Lab Animal (Research Anesthetist). He has an amazing career path that has allowed him the opportunity to work with some amazing animals. Stephen is an expert in the field of veterinary cannabinoid usage and he educated us both on a lot of topics and issues we did not understand previously. We also talked about the lack of diversity in our field and what can be done to improve upon it. We had a great time recording this interview with him and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

IACUC or not, necropsies await majority of research animals. Not the best advice for animal lovers. IMO anyhow. I didn’t last as a lab tech when beagle colony had to be studied after death... too much for me.
